Amber Schilling litigates and defends a diverse docket of civil claims. Prior to joining Rymer, Echols, & Nelson-Archer, she defended large corporations in matters before Administrative Law Judges, handling claims arising under the Longshore & Habor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, War Hazard Compensation Act, and general maritime law. She believes cases can be won or lost based on small details, which initially may not appear critical. Amber’s dedication to her clients’ needs has led her to taking a proactive approach which leaves no stone unturned.
Ms. Schilling received her BA in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She then earned a paralegal certificate from University of California, Los Angeles, and went on to earn her law degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston. While in law school, she worked at the Fred Parks Law Library, where she assisted students with research strategy, while also clerking at the Harris County Attorney’s Office. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and New Mexico in 2020.
